The Dead Sea is 35 Mile long, 10 mile wide, 1400 ft. below sea level. Nothing can live in the Dead Sea, but through irrigation, the surrounding area has been cultivated.

- I am 84 years old. My husband and I celebrated our 67th wedding anniversary January 31, 2009. We have four children (Rose Ann, Steve, David, Don), nine grandchildren (Lisa, Matthew,Trey, Dara Jayne, Samuel, Joshua, Sarah, Jonathan, Elise) and 14 great grandchildren (Jessica, Mark, Alaina Joy,Jennalyse Jayne, Kristopher, Luke, Nick, Jack, Cooper, Sophie, Julia, Alyssa, Hunter and Palmer) plus spouses (Pat, Martha, Andrew, Tracy, Renee, Jennifer, Kevin, Katy, Brian and Tiffany.)
