Jordan

Babbock River dividing Gilead Mountains
This herd of camel was the first picture I took on this amazing journey.
Taken in Jerash, Jordan

We actually started our trip in Jordan. We flew into Amman, Jordan via Beirut, Lebanon where we loaded and unloaded passengers. When we arrived in Amman our suitcases were searched thoroughly at customs. There were military everywhere and even our cameras were checked. Certainly no pictures were allowed.

Our next stop was Jerash, Jordan where we saw the Oak Forest where Absolom was hung. The above picture is the Babbock River dividing Gilead Mountains where Jacob wrestled with an Angel and name was changed to Israel (meaning man who stood against God).
